...practicing at Augusta. Will attempt to play in the Masters.

He's trying to trump Tom Brady.

I’m guessing his biggest concern is whether he can handle walking the course 4 rounds.
good point. He knows Augusta greens like the back of his hand and has all the shots that brutal course demands . Still has decent length (no short hitters winning at Augusta anymore). And its the only major with a shortened field. The Masters is his best chance to win another major ,....but who knows where his game is at.

i believe two holes have been lengthened for 2022.

here are the changes;

For No. 11, the "significant hole changes" are described as, "Masters tees moved back 15 yards and to the golfer’s left. Fairway recontoured and several trees removed on right side." And for No. 15, "Masters tees moved back 20 yards and fairway recontoured."

dont understand # 11 as its traditionally a tough hole

# 15 is the par 5 over water-- this is going to be huge. Many coming in with a 5 iron + over water, yikes . . See more lay ups at least from the shorter hitters i'd imagine, may take out some excitement

looks like 18 will be lengthened as well

The media guide also mentions on No. 18, "Thirteen yards added to the back of the Masters tees without necessitating a change in length to the hole." The par 72 will play to 7,510 yards total, reflecting the combined 35-yard increase on Nos. 11 and 15.

no short hitter is winning at Augusta , lol

one thing seems to be sure - if he tees it up, he thinks he can win. He's always been about winning. he aint showing up for some kind of cameo appearance . No way.

time doing its thing ;

“I don’t have to compete and play against the best players in the world to have a great life,” he told Golf Digest before using a mountain-climbing analogy. “After my back fusion, I had to climb Mt. Everest one more time. I had to do it, and I did.” “This time around, I don’t think I’ll have the body to climb Mt. Everest, and that’s OK. I can still participate in the game of golf. I can still, if my leg gets OK, I can still click off a tournament here or there. But as far as climbing the mountain again and getting all the way to the top, I don’t think that’s a realistic expectation of me.”

I’m guessing his biggest concern is whether he can handle walking the course 4 rounds.
“I can hit it just fine,” Woods added. “I don’t have any qualms about what I can do physically from a golf standpoint. It’s now, walking’s the hard part. This is not an easy walk to begin with. Now given the condition that my leg is in, it gets a little more difficult. And 72 holes is a long road. It’s going to be a tough challenge and a challenge that I’m up for.”

Thursday gogin to play long, damp conditions.

hole # 5 is simply a fuckin beast. 11 has had a serioous makeover!!! wow!! like it, a bail out right on the approach shot aint going to leave a straight-forward up and down anymore . The whole Right side off the tee has changed

cant wait to see the action at #15. I see a lot of folks laying up

saw some highlights on the swing. Looks solid, but dont know how that body holds up for 4 days

in his career at Augusta, 23 trips

has made the cut 22 times .

Tiger to make the cut is -110 . If stamina is an issue, it likely hits the weekend not the first the two days. Goes off early am, benign conditions. Form? who knows, but he's Tiger

Scheffler, Smith come in, obviously, with solid form. Scottie in the zone. Need length to take advantage of the par 5's here moreso this year : a lengthened 15 AND damp conditions--adv big hitters

Tee to green , and esp, with the irons Justin Thomas is hard not to like . He can move the ball in either direction (#13 demands a draw off the tee, 18 a cut..easy peasy for this guy) fearless dude. The part of his game thats killing him is the putter How solid has JT's iron game been?

approach 50-125yds -- 1st
approach 125-150 yds -- 2nd
approach 150-175 yds-- 1st
approach- 175-200 yds - 4th

these r crazy numbers coming in. gets that flat blade going?

like how Koepka is coming in

i think come Sat eveing we will have a spectacular leaderboard for Championship Sunday :)

At FOX Bet, Tiger's current odds to make the cut are listed at +100, while his number to miss the weekend sits at -133.
